I'm Mrs. Lopez. I am a 7th grade homeroom teacher as well as a Social Studies teacher. This year, I will
be teaching United States History to my 7th grade students. I will also be teaching U.S. History to my
8th grade students. We are learning many new and exciting things. Your child is in a departmentalized setting. This is done in order to prepare them for High School. Students are expected to have more responsibilities, which not only include homework, tests/quizzes but also group and individual projects. Organization is crucial in this type of setting. It takes practice, but I'm sure that with our help, they will get the hang of it in no time.
